Albert Normandin
Albert Normandin is a professional photographer and movie creator, born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Early on he bought a one-way ticket to New York City to work for the legendary Jay Maisel. After three and a half years with Maisel, he retuned to Canada to start his own photographic career.
Albert has worked for a long list of high profile clients and received many awards and credits for his assignment and personal work.
His travels have taken him to some of the more exotic and far reaching points of the Earth, in constant search for moments of life in the Real World.
A traditional photographer over the course of his career, he has been applying those skills to the modern digital era.
More recently he is working in studio and on location back in Canada. His current subjects include talented dancers, actors and models.
Preferring to create in camera animation, stop motion and time lapse events. Using these methods to make music movies for musicians and performers.
He is constantly experimenting with more abstract visual illusions using current digital equipment.
