Daniel Corey

Daniel Corey is a Los Angeles-based musician, visual media artist, and writer who works at the intersection of storytelling and emerging technology. As a singer-songwriter and composer, Daniel creates cinematic, emotionally charged music that blends Americana, electronica, and experimental soundscapes.

His body of work includes Cyber-Americana, a one-man acoustic rock show that pairs roots-inspired songwriting with immersive projected visuals and delivers a spiritually uplifting message of love and encouragement. That same spirit of emotional resonance and visual ambition is reflected in his Telly Award-winning music video Lift Me Up, which was recognized in the Social Video–Music Video category alongside projects from MTV and Lil Nas X and has screened at festivals worldwide.

Daniel’s writing career began in live theater. In 2007, he shifted into new media by founding DangerKatt Creative Studio, the home for all his creative projects. Through DangerKatt, he wrote and created the graphic novels Moriarty and Red City for Image Comics. Moriarty was later adapted into a VR comic experience, earning him the #2 spot on Onalytica’s Top 100 Virtual Reality Influencers list. The series also won Best Sci-Fi Graphic Novel at the Philip K. Dick Film Festival and Best Action and Adventure Graphic Novel at BookFest.

In 2020, Daniel launched his conceptual photo series Map of the World, which won over a dozen international awards and became the foundation for his extensive AI film work. In addition to Lift Me Up, he has created original narrative works such as After Life and Transcender, further exploring his signature blend of music, imagery, and AI-driven storytelling.

Daniel’s work has been featured in Yahoo! Finance, USA Today, The Associated Press, The Wrap, Toronto Film Magazine, WhitePaperBy, CinemaWide Magazine, CanvasRebel, The Liftoff Network, VIVEPORT, L.A. Talk Radio, Onalytica.com, and Intellect Books, among other media outlets.
